Another clever ad for T-Mobile, which highlights one of the problems of non-flip phones: derrière dialing. Here's how it did on the "viral" charts.

Guerrilla Marketing 101 (and Possibly Viral Marketing 102)

Great guerrilla marketing for T-Mobile. This happened at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2009. Hundreds of actors wearing normal dress attire were sent to a rail station. The team cued music, and the actors took over, dancing and drawing in by-standers. Brilliant. Positive. Memorable.

Credit for the massive undertaking goes to firm Saatchi & Saatchi of London. “The idea was to create a feeling of spontaneity – an event so memorable that people can’t help but join in and share it,” Saatchi & Saatchi Creative Partner Paul Silburn is reported to have said about the event.
